MPU counselling centre: your most frequent questions
What are the advantages of using an MPU counselling centre?
Using an approved MPU counselling centre such as MPU-Akademie offers numerous advantages, including professional and targeted preparation that significantly increases your chances of a positive MPU result. MPU counselling centres also offer support in coping with stress and anxiety around the MPU and help with long-term behavioural change.
How early should I contact an MPU counselling centre?
We recommend contacting us as your MPU counselling centre as early as possible, ideally immediately after you find out that you have to take an MPU. Early counselling and preparation are very important in order to pass the MPU and not lose valuable time in the end.
How do I find a good MPU counselling centre?
A good MPU counselling centre is characterised by qualified specialists, a high success rate, transparent costs and positive client reviews. It is important that the counselling centre is approved and employs experienced psychologists and counsellors who are specially trained in MPU preparation – ideally including former MPU assessors.
Who can provide MPU counselling?
MPU counselling should only be provided by qualified specialists who are trained in psychological counselling and in dealing with traffic law issues. These are often traffic psychologists or specially trained MPU counsellors with sound knowledge of the medical-psychological assessment.
